The LMP331i from BD Corporation is a pressure sensor suitable for industrial applications that require high precision. It covers a pressure range from 0 to 17 kPa to 3.5 MPa with a rich selection of seven ranges. There are two measurement modes available: gauge pressure and absolute pressure, both capable of measuring with high precision of ±0.05% FS. Pressure is transmitted to the silicon cell through an oil medium applied to a flush diaphragm. The output from the silicon cell is temperature compensated and linearized for high precision output. The output signal can be selected from 0 to 10 VDC or 4 to 20 mADC. The pressure port is made of SUS316Ti, and the diaphragm is made of SUS316L, making it compatible with most media. An intrinsically safe explosion-proof type is also available as an option.
